151 Mondeo or 151 Avensis

Have a 141 Ford focus titanium with extra specs. It's 1.6 diesel, 95 brake, saloon with 18000 km.

Was given a trade up with 7800 for a 151 Mondeo middle range or 8800 for the high range Avensis with all the specs.

Just wondering if there could be a better deal out there or should I go for either of the above. Need to make a decision for Monday.

Is the Mondeo the new or old model? If it's the old model try and get a Titanium model as they were kitted out with decent equipment. Avensis is ancient at this stage being around since 2009 and a revamped model is being launched in July/August.

BTW why are you trading up? Seems crazy to trade up from a year old Focus with only 18k km on the clock unless you need the extra space.

The Mondeo is the new model and the Avensis would be the old model but the top one. Just need the bigger space is all. Do you think the above prices are good?

The new Mondeo then as the Avensis is just old hat. But you should look at the new Passat too.

It's hard to tell without going to other dealers and seeing what sort of money they would want.
