    Hi all,

I am about to get my first new set of tyres and would like some advice on how to scrub them up on the road before I can start putting more confidence into cornering.

Had a few bikes but never did enough milage on them or had them long enough for new threads.

Just drive but take it handy for a while. Just dont go throwing the bike into corners or accelerating too hard.

Take it handy on them to start with and don't chuck them around. Anytime I had new tyres I just drove like it was wet/raining. After around 100 miles they'll be scrubbed in.
