    Hi there,

Have an interview with Intel coming up soon (25th April) for a process technician internship in lexilip.

Now i'm from scotland so will be flying over for it, basically i'm trying to see if anyone has been through the interview process they carry out?

I've been told what it will entail - 3 parts, face to face interview, written test and a hands on part. But that is it. Was wondering if anyone knows more about this so i can be as prepared as possible!

Not much information to be found on the web, anything that i have found is from a good 5 years ago!

Thanks in advance for anyone that may be able to lend a hand!

This thread my be of use to you:

I worked there in a design role (not directly for Intel) on a project for about 8 months.
Intel did not suit me TBH.

Seems that quite a lot of people haven't enjoyed there time with Intel.

I've an interview on Saturday, expecting it to be quite cut throat.

But after reading so many people's experiences with Intel, I'm beginning to question whether this is the type of environment I'd like to work in!

I know someone who works as a lab technician in Intel, possibly the very same position you applied for, they're looking for people now. Prepare for 12 hrs day/night shifts 4 times a week.

As for the interview, the person I know had been messing around with building/fixing amps etc. for a long time before they got a job there, so that was of a big interest for the interviewers. If you've experience, even at home, that would even remotely link to what you gonna be doing - don't hesitate to mention and show it to them, they give a massive plus for it.

Only real experience I have is more mechanical sided. I left college nearly a year ago, so I'm worried that when I go to this interview my mind will just be blank when I get asked a related question.

I'm reading up on old notes, but with so much to cover it seems impossible without knowing what they might ask haha
