Heading off travelling for a year or two at some point soon, mainly around Europe so I would prefer to use the money currently in my account, but how can I reduce the charges and silly bank fee's? Especially when I won't have an income...

    Hi blabley,

Thanks for contacting us on Boards today.

We have information on how to reduce fees and charges here

We would always recommend notifying us, if you plan on using your debit or credit cards overseas to ensure continued use while abroad. You can do this via your Online Service Desk on Bank of Ireland 365 Online. Please choose the 'Credit Card Notification' option for credit cards and 'Ask a Question' option for debit card notification.

Enjoy your travels and please let us know if we can help with anything else.

    Thanks

    Billy
