Yep the Kick Ass/Kinsgman director is in discussion with Fox to give Flash Gordon a kick into the 21st century though by keeping it in the era of the original stories by the looks of it.

Obviously it won't hold a candle to the Mike Hodges version but if I was going to nominate a director/writer for such a film it would be thee two.

They can get the Darkness to do the rock music bits! :p

Gary Barlow is writing the music already :p

    I like Vaughn

I would say Sam Jones would love to play him again

its always hard to imagine a remake I think. You always have a place for the original if you liked it to begin with. It was a cheesy movie but somehow worked.

The one thing I always remember about Flash Gordan, is my brother going on so much about why anyone would pick the girl Dale over Ming's hot daughter :D

You do realise that in essence the Hodge's film is a remake of the 1930's serial?

haha no that's gas and its funny since I was talking about remakes when what I was actually talking about is a remake then, duh :o

What kind of music in this one? Why assume that the darkness should do the soundtrack if he is remaking the 1930s version?
