Could be OK - they are actually a watch brand, if not particularly distinguished. But I'd be looking at Casio, Seiko, Citizen, Orient etc. Maybe Lorus? They're made by Seiko.

Just ran into Argos there to have a look. It has a Japanese movement as per the back of the watch case. I just thought it looked quite classy with the blue dial and brown strap. The buttons to operate the chrono had abit of a screechy sound when pressed, like a dry spring scraping againt somthing. Its smaller then I thought too.
Dunno if to go for it or not since its small money.

it's not expensive, but not throwaway money either. For the sake of a few quid extra or so, you could get something with a much better pedigree.

Like other have mentioned brands like Citizen, Seiko, Orient, Casio all offer much more. If you were to raise your budget to 150-200 your choice would raise almost exponentially. There are a lot of good watches in this price range from the aforementioned brands.

...for an extra €12 you could have this

    http://www.watchshop.com/mens-lorus-chronograph-watch-rt351cx9-p99961134.html

    postage is free.

    It's 44mm, so not small.

If you up your budget, you'd get this...

    http://www.watchshop.com/mens-casio-edifice-alarm-chronograph-watch-efa-135d-1a4vef-p99957447.html?altproduct=1

It's not as big, and the case is thinner.
