internship interview - wasn't meant to be

    Hello,

I recently had an interview for an internship. A week or so later I had two missed calls from them and when I rang back a few times there was no answer, so I emailed them. They acknowledged my email and said they'd ring me later that day. I waited all day but no call so I tried ringing again but no answer so I left a voicemail. And I haven't heard from them since.

I don't know, I probably wasn't going to get offered the position but it's really bothering me the way it went. I suffer with anxiety and all this has given me a bit of a set back and triggered it, stupid I know but I just don't know what to make of it all? Any opinions? Thanks.

You've done as much as you could.

It's hard to know what's going on in some companies.

The way to look at these things is you do all you can and then leave it be. You don't know the reason; they may be busy, have an emergency, a set of meetings, or be simply disorganised.

You do what is within your control, and try to not stress about things outside your control.
