Can you upgrade ACR without upgrading photoshop?

    I have Elements 10 which I'm happy with as it has pretty much everything I need. However my version of camera RAW is lacking some features that I'd like, mainly the shadows and whites sliders. Is it possible to upgrade camera RAW without upgrading to the full CS version of photoshop?

    what version of camera raw do you have?
    it's possible to upgrade ACR without upgrading photoshop, but i'm not familiar with elements so can't be certain the same applies there.

    I think its 6.4. I'd be looking for 8 or above to get the extra features.

    looks like the latest version available for elements 10 is v6.7.

    Yeah I might download that first and see what its like. A newer version of elements might have a better version.
