The final round of the leagues will be held on Sunday 19th April 2015. The venue is the Teachers Club, 36 Parnell Square West, Dublin 1. Divisions 2, 4 and 6 (Heidenfeld, O'Hanlon and Bodley) will be played in the morning. Divisions 1, 3 and 5 (Armstrong, Ennis and BEA) will be played in the afternoon. The morning session will commence at 10am and the afternoon session will commence at 3pm. Teams must bring their own boards sets and clocks. Prizes will be presented at the completion of each session.
Time fly's doesn't it!? Just want to wish everyone the best of luck in the final rounds. :D

I believe this is the first year the Bodley will play on the final day? It's a day like no other, the atmosphere is amazing, although it can get a little noisy!

There's surely to be some tense battles with teams scrambling for promotion or avoiding relegation.

I'll be there, so if anyone wants to say hello OR punch me in the face, its the best time to do it! :P

What is the time control for the last round? Is it the same as normal games.

Yes the same as usual for your respective division.

What is the criteria for winning a board prize?

Just to be completely clear, in an 11 round league, you need at least 8.5 points. When there's a single team missing, 7.5 is sufficient. This is independent of how many games the player in question plays - 8/8 won't do it if there are 11 full rounds, but it will if there's a bye.

League tables have been updated. Three rathmines in Heidenfeld next year will look weird. :pac:

Ah, the season of Benildus' greatest ever Heidenfeld result: http://www.leinsterchess.com/lcu0304/div2/match60.htm. Sadly, one of those players - Mark Webb - has since passed away rather young.
