Bike checks and repairs on Dundrum

    Hi all,

I live in Dundrum, and recently I purchased a second hand bike, which I use to go to work every day. I do not have any idea about maintenance or how to check that all is working correctly and, in case it needs, change some parts.

I would like to go any shop close to Dundrum to do this maintenance and check the wheels, the brakes, the chain...

    Thanks

Joe Daly cycles under the bridge, can't go wrong with it.

You've loads of choice, Hollingsworth, Fitzcycles, Harry's Bikes and the aforementioned Joe Daly's, its a well served area and those shops, from my experience, are all equivalent in terms of service quality.

Thank you very much. Do you know how much could it cost this maintenance? I assume that it depends on if they need to change very much parts or not but I wouldnt like to spend 50Euros when the bike cost me 90 :)

    Cheers

I live in dundrum, i agree that hollingsworth, joe dalay, harry bikes and fitzcycles are all more or less equally good. I think Joe Daly may cost a bit more than some of others, I tend to use Harry's bikes or Fitzcycles myself, both of which are newer shops.

i think you will struggle to get away for less than €50.

Is there anything you think is not working? Are the brakes and gears working ok?

Not particularly, but I would like to check it to stay quiet. Thank you very much for your consideration. I will ask them a budget.

    Cheers
