Broken fog light and NCT

    Sorry to bring up an old thread,
    But I broke one of my front fog lights, the casing around it cracked so it would require a hole new bumper to fit it back in securely so removed it,
    I basically have one fog light at the front, would I best off removing the second one to pass or go up with just the one ?

    Moved out from an old thread.

    As long as there is no jagged edges the fog lights do not need to work. NCT do not check fog lights function..

    Thanks so even thought you can see one is missing it should be ok ?
    So no need to remove the second one

    Yes, as far as I know the bulb and glass can both be missing and it should still pass.
    Worst case if they fail you it's a free visual retest.
