Looking out for a new to me MTB, I think my large talon 3 might be a bit small for me, what would be the ideal frame size and wheel size, also any recommendations on bikes around the 300 - 600 mark, new or secondhand.

Depends on the geometry of the frame and brand you go for but you will.most likely need an xl at your height, unfortunately they would not be readily available second hand.

    Hi JJJ ,

I'm 6 '2 and eventually found a large Commencal Meta second hand . Most of the second hand bikes out there are mediums or smalls a few large and best of luck getting an extra large . The Large is actually a bit too small for me and I have the seatpost at max , but I grew to like it a bit small because it's easy to throw around so maybe a large would be ok if your willing to sacrafice perfect fit for better handling .
