I use my laptop a lot. I am willing to to pay up to 1000 euro (I can buy it through the company). It needs to be fast and handle quiet a few process (nothing to crazy) for work and also movies. I'd like it to have the latest processor so I dont have to change it for a long time.
Appreciate any suggestions! I'm happy to do my own research if you can tell me a good place to purchase?
I like the Dell XPS 13.

The XPS 13 has to be one of the best Windows machines out there at the moment I reckon.

    Lenovo X1 carbon 2015 edition or the XPS 13 2015 edition ;)

Before getting any model of Lenovo check if the operating system can be changed, I bought one recently and it turned out that the option to replace the system with a different one is disabled.

This Levono just appeared this week on Komplett and it looks like a great spec -http://www.komplett.ie/product/zkb-01lap/20517855/lenovo-ideapad-y50-70/details.aspx

Would it be classed as an 'ultrabook'?

The XPS non touchscreen is still the forerunner. Is there any Dell discount codes or useful places to find them?

Is that legit? 4K screen, 1TB SSD, GTX 960M?? That seems like insane value. I've been looking around for a laptop for a good while and that's by far the best price. The Acer V15 Nitro with the same card, no 4K and normal HDD is like €200 more expensive!

    *Edit*
Sorry, got over-excited with the hard-drive, it's a normal one so that solves that but the product description says 'FHD 1920 x 1080 res' and the Specifications say 4K panel?? Wonder which it is?

Its not a 1TB SSD, it's a 1TB SSHD where only 8GB is solid state. These hybrid drives are handy for booting up quickly but a long way from a proper SSD.

It does seem to be a good mix though? Is it worth the extra cash for the Dell? I'm still lost on if its a 4k or 1920 x 1080?

It's 1080, checked with the site. I actually bought it and got delivery of it yesterday. Seems grand so far. I updated the hard drive straight away so can't speak for the standard one. Wifi card seems crap but that's a known issue.
