Which would be the best car check sites? Prices range from €10 to €35 on various sites. I'd like to check mileage, finance details and whether it was crashed. Is my only option to pay €35 to a site?I know its money well spent if anything shows up.Just wondering if some are better than others.

I've used motorcheck in the past and there are discount codes available on the interweb.

Yeh,I used a discount code just there. Car I'm looking at tomorrow checked out fine....apart from this about tax "However, we have noticed a previous gap in the taxation dates. This may be explained by a period of non-use where the car was not taxed. "
Its currently taxed until July 2015 so is this something to be concerned about? Should I ask owner tomorrow why there was gaps?Or why a 2012 car was possibly off the road for periods?
    Heres the info-

    Current Tax Yes
    Expiry Date 31/07/2015 (Highlighted orange)
Previous Expiry Date(s) 31/12/2014 (Highlighted orange)
    31/12/2013
    30/06/2013 (Highlighted orange)
    31/10/2012 (Highlighted orange)
    30/04/2012

The 4 dates above are highlighted in orange. I assume that means possible gaps

Meeting the seller of this car later today but I'm a little suspicious after seeing possible gaps in road tax for a 3 year old car.... Should I be wary?
