College work placement recommendations (IT)

    Hey all,

    I'm due to do a 6 month + work placement as part of my college course, it's not until next February but I am trying to get a head start on it.

    My course is Computer Science and Software Engineering. I'll be in third year for the work placement and will be mostly looking in the programming area.

    Can anyone recommended some good companies to apply to? I'm looking to apply myself as much as possible for this period and really learn what is needed of me in a real world business setting. Thanks! :)
