Sa vs San

    In irish when do you know which one to use? 'Sa' means 'in the' and 'San' means the same! Do you use San in front of a vowel e.g. San otharcharr?? Thanks :/

    San with a vowel, or with words that start with "f" (and add a séimhiú).
