Interview Style

I have an interview later this week and I'm thinking about what I'm going to wear. I think I'll be wearing a teal coloured dress and black blazer. I have two questions. One, would black patent pumps look smart enough?! Two, is it appropriate to take a handbag to the interview? And if so, would a black bag be best? Thanks in advance!

Black patent shoes sound fine, I've worn them to several interviews.
I usually avoid bringing a bag, mostly because I get fidgety when I'm nervous :D but a black bag would be grand as long as you can be trusted not to fiddle with it!

Thanks for that Dee. Lol that's exactly why I'm unsure about the bag, I can be a bit fidgety when I'm nervous, so the bag may not be the best idea. I guess the bag will depend on the nerves!!!
