    Is there any way to have a pdf open at last page closed in acrobat reader Lumia 520?

    Not unless the app has a specific option to do that.

    If there is something you like you refer to quite often, you could try taking a screenshot and viewing that - it could be faster?

    no it is reading a book say when waiting for dentist or other appt. on a computer you can make adobe open at last page viewed. that is what i want
    i do not see any way to get options in the phone adobe reader

    Try Foxit Mobile PDF reader, it appears to save the page/position of the last PDF opened...

    Foxit had spyware at one time. Do they still?

    Check their privacy policy, most apps send back anonymous statistics.

    Spyware is typically additional software that's installed while you're installing another app, this isn't technically possible on the phone.

    There is a microsoft one it says it uses data services. What does this mean ads?

    It means the app uses the internet connection.

    Because the app needs to ask for permission to do *everything* it needs to do in it's functionality, not just the narrower window of usage that any individual might have for it. ie. Facebook Messenger wants access to your camera because there's a feature to use the camera to send photos, even though you might never use that feature.

    I must try it on the windows phone. IMO their desktop app is s much faster than adobe reader.
