Recommend a Touch Screen Laptop

Hi Guys, need some help here.
I attended some lectures there last year and the chap presenting had a touch screen laptop that flipped fully over, and he could then write on it using windows journal and also highlight stuff.

In addition, he could open any pdf, or screenshot any webpage and jot over it, amongst other functions. The laptop seemed to then double up as a 'normal' laptop with keyboard.

Had no interest at the time, but certainly something I want to get now. I am trying to research it but I do not fully understand what is out there. Can anyone recommend something I could look at? I currently highlight documents using my mouse, and for comments I have to insert a bubble comment. I would much prefer to open a document and be able to write all over it. I would also prefer to be able to jot my notes on Onenote rather than having to type them.

    Thanks if anyone can help!

You're talking about an utrabook convertable with digitizer. Few options around, Surface Pro3, Yoga 3 Pro, Dell have a few XPS units, Vaio (Previously sony, now JIP) have some flip units.

You're talking €900+ FYI. None of the cheaper units will give you a digitizer which is crucial for pen recognition.

Just to bump this as it something I'd be keen on.

I'm considering whether to invest in a new laptop - primarily for gaming on releases 1 year plus. I'm aware that desktops are better gaming options but I don't have the space to install that where I live.

I read a lot so a quasi tablet feature would interest me. I have a tablet at the moment but using two devices is a bit indulgent!

Dont bother, you'll thermal throttle to all hell and the convertibles all have APU graphics only.

If you cant get a desktop get a 17" gaming laptop. Ultraportables are designed for business users really.

Thanks, the gaming aspect is much more important to me than the convertible aspect so I know to rule it out now.
