Headphone recommendations

Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has recommendations for headphone use with hearing aids. My 3 y/o wears hearing aids on both ears but they do not have a t-coil switch. Are there any type of headphones that would suit for him watching dvd's in the car etc?

It seems that the way to go is a larger set of over ears headphones but keep the volume down, as the hearing aids will amplify the sound output.
Have them at the lowest volume setting and edge the volume up, if the player has a volume limiter, I would use it.
