looks like it's not possible to export CSV history for credit card account in the same way it's possible for current accounts.
this is a major inconvenience, please make it possible. i'm not asking for much here, just for the same facility as is already available for current accounts.

    thank you!

    Hi rojer,

Thank you for getting in contact with us here on Boards.ie.

While the 'export to excel' option is available on current accounts regrettably, this is currently unavailable on Credit Card accounts. Our Online team hope to introduce this in the future. While we do not have a time scale on this, please be assured that once this function is implemented we will notify our customers via the usual channels.

You may be able to copy and paste transaction history from your credit card into Excel although, you may need to turn of eStatements and manipulate the details as they will not automatically format.

We appreciate all our customers feedback and we will certainly forward your suggestions to our Online Team for ongoing development.

Thank you for taking the time to post.
    Elaine

    thanks Elaine.

copy and pasting doesn't come out right at all. lots of manual editing is required, very annoying.

CSV export is a basic requirement guys, needs to be sorted. Surely if the software is well written, CSV export would not need to be re-implemented for the credit card display.

not only does BOI not provide CSV export, it turns out the statement PDFs don't allow copy-pasting either.
this is a stab in the back guys, it makes no sense. whom are you protecting against, the owner?

can you please ask whoever is responsible for the system that produces statements to flip this bit?
it's a setting when generating PDF files. they will come out exactly the same but will at least allow copy-pasting.
with some massage i can hopefully turn that into a CSV.
