I'm looking for a dress to wear to a wedding at the end of the summer and saw this one from River Island

Yellow isn't a colour I would normally wear but I thought this dress was fun and summery. I have typical Irish skin tone, pale but normally have a light tan by the end of the summer. My hair is dark blonde. Do you think you need olive skin/dark hair to wear yellow?

Also how would you accessorise it? Grey shoes rather than black to avoid looking like a bumble bee?

You don't need olive skin and dark hair to pull off yellow - my first thought was Michelle Williams at the 2009 Oscars. You just need to make sure there's no yellow tones in your hair, as the colour of the dress would draw attention to them. A light tan will definitely help!
Grey shoes sound good (or maybe white?) - I'd go quite simple with accessories as there's quite alot of detail in the dress. A plain cuff would look great with it IMO.
