The Dangers of Wind Power

The sporadic and unpredictable nature of wind power generation can lead to the generation of huge magnetic fields.
The danger arises due to ineffective screening between generation and the supply grid. Surges of current are then able to cross over to the domestic grid wreaking havoc.Once on the grid this super charged current known as "heavy electricity" flows through cables in a series of powerful bolts too large for the cables to contain.
This causes electricity to be knocked back to its wild state, and due to flattened electrons is much heavier. This causes huge masses of electricity to fall out of cables like an invisible lead soup.

First the water pipes, now even the bleedin cables are leaking...

Unbridled wind power can even put marriages under serious strain.

This looks like some of your lessons thats due tomorrow.

I had expected to read about a tall chap in Offaly getting a belt in the head of a propeller.

We need a new public, semi private entity to take care of this.

    Maybe Irish Air.....

Vid somewhere on the web....Will find....was funny.

The question that needs to be asked here is, are we allowed to collect this lead soup electricity in buckets?

No that name is reserved for the public airline that RBB and his lefty pals are going to create when they get into power. Flights to London will cost €300 but you'll get a free drink and muffin. I'll go for Irish Wind.

Those wind turbines are very expensive to run on days when there's no wind.

No wind, do you know how often that happens in Ireland, in coastal areas in particular?

The most dangerous aspect of wind-turbines is that they affect the gravity around them and once you use gravity it is gone forever, like fossil-fuels, I suppose.

When there's no wind they have to be turned by electricity that's generated by other means. It's very wasteful.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Whatever happened that idea of the reservoir?

Basically create a massive sea water reservoir somewhere on a cliff on the west coast. Use wind power to pump water into the reservoir (whenever there is wind - doesn't matter) and then generate hydro electric power dropping the sea water back into the sea again to supply the grid with constant power.

I thought that was as brilliant an idea as it was simple.

I'd have thought that there was a greater danger in them slowing down the rotation of the Earth as they spin like thousands of gyroscopes, and what happens if the wind blows the other way does it spin the meters backwards.

What a simple, cost effective solution. Are you mad?

How could they possibly affect the rotation of the Earth if they're facing into the wind all the time???

    Seriously, that's basic physics.

    Too expensive apparently.
Plus we don't do good ideas.

The problem with wind produced electricity is that by the time it gets to the customer it's lost 40% of it's freshness.

When there's a really strong atlantic storm, their drag blows up a bit closer to the uk every time. The ferry crossing is already minutes shorter as a result and they've barely been up a wet week. Give it ten years and we'll all be speaking welsh.

So you not worried about all the cables in urban areas then ? Just the ones that have a connection to the view ?
