Sky Remote Keeps Recording

    Having trouble with our Sky box. About a month ago it seemed like the record button was broken as the box was behaving as if the button was being continually pressed. The next day it stopped but then started again a week or two later. I bought a new remote this week and it was going grand until just there now. I'm assuming it's now a problem with the box itself as the red light on the remote isn't coming on at all when the record option is popping up.

    Just wondering if anyone knows the craic before I ring Sky?

    Make sure the record button on the box is not jammed. Then I'd suggest to do a planner rebuild on the box. Google it and it will tell you step by step how to do it.
