How to find my NCB?

I won't bore you with the details, but I was sick, had a baby, moved house and lost my job and I sold my car about 19 months ago. I've been driving and am insured on my husbands policy on and off over the past 19 mths.
I am now getting a new car and cannot for the life of me, find out who I was insured with on my old car, and therefore, can't find my no claims bonus! I would have gotten insured by one of the 'brokers' (Chill/123.ie etc) because I remember getting quotes from lots of them, but can't remember who I was finally insured with to contact them and get my NCB.
Is there an easy way for me to figure this out as I am getting quotes for the new car, but can't go ahead with the insurance without the NCB.
    Thanks

Can you search for 'insurance' through your email account if you bought online?

If you paid for it with cheque or credit card you could find out that way.

I would have paid by DD through my bank - I never thought of checking there. I've already done the 'insurance' search but with no luck - I have various quotes alright, but not sure which one I went with in the end.

Hope it was less than 24 months back because after that afaik it no longer counts.
