I want to buy a new dishwasher but I am torn between an Electrolux and a Miele. My existing dishwasher has just packed up after 20 years of excellent service, and it was an Electrolux. The Miele will cost you a heap more than another Electrolux. It's possible that your usage pattern gives you long life in which case I'd stick with Electrolux or maybe a Bosch. It's probably not worth stretching to a Miele if you're not going to get many more years out of it which is the normal reason for paying the Miele premium which in any case I would only pay for a Miele washing machine, not a dishwasher.
