I was at the Leinster vs Bath game in Lansdowne Road last Saturday. I bought a program and i asked for a earpiece but the kid didnt know what i was talking about.

Any previous Heineken cup game i attended iv always had 1 but for some reason this is no longer the case. Anyone know why?

Couldn't you just tune it in on your phone? That's what I've seen other people do.

Exactly - choose your own ear piece and tune in to 96FM for the Aviva. And it's free.

It's generally referred to as a Ref Link, in most stadia you can pick it up on an FM radio though some broadcast at a lower frequency than some devices can scan.

What'd you do with the ones you used before? I've been using the same one for years. I assume the frequency is always the same in Lansdowne...

Always got the ref link ear pieces from the people selling them inside the ground. I thought maybe it was something to do the EPCR running of the tournament that they were no longer available.

I was unable to tune in at that game on my phone like i did for the last few Ireland games I was at. I assumed that this just wasn't available for club games.
