Anyone doing weed licking on contract? Do you charge by acre or by hour? What rates? Looking for some weeds to be treated! Limerick area ! Don't fancy spraying as I want to keep my clover

You can rent one around here. If you look in a few of the agri sales places around you they might do the same.

know a guy, east limerick/north tipp area he charges €20/acre, you supply the spray. Not sure how good or bad that is in terms of rate.

Jasus 20 seems a bit excessive tbh,
But that's me going on the basis that spraying is 5 to 7 an acre at tidy rev, don't know the power usage for a licker tho. I assumed maybe no Rev.

But to be fair the licker is only 9 or 10ft wide at most compared to 30ft or so on a sprayer so it is going to take 3 or 4 times longer to lick the ground.

And you should go around twice to get the rushes on both sides
