My girlfriend wants to move in with me and I then want to claim as a cohabiting couple and she will be the qualified adult on my already existing JA benefit.

We have been together in a close relationship for about 8 months and meet all the criteria as far as I am aware but there is a significant age difference between us. Does this matter when wanting to claim as a cohabiting couple?

Not one bit. Go right ahead and the best of luck to you in your new life as a couple.
