Office 365 account v MS account

i can't seem to sign into my Microsoft account using my office 365 login details. For example when I laugh one note it looks for sign in details but it's not recognising my office 365 login details. Don't really want to sign into my surface using my personal hotmail account. Does anyone knownif I can link the two accounts…

Microsoft in all of their wisdom decided to keep them seperate Sadly, there is currently no way to have an MS account and an office 365 account linked together.
