I'll be jumping on to the streaming service soon and not sure which to go with.

Which service do you use and if you've used multiples which did you prefer? 39 votes

I use google play music, because I can use my 3 credit to pay for it. It's ok. Not great, but worth the €10 a month I think.

I use google music - mainly because it links up well with the chromecast.

If there's a handy way to switch over to Spotify, and still be able to cast music quickly to the tv, I'd jump on it.

Spotify premium once you no longer have the guy telling you to upgrade its life changing :pac:

Might give Tidal a try at some point.

Spotify gives a nicer user experience and has a better selection of music in my opinion but google play isn't far behind and you can upload all your music selection to the cloud to which is handy. Would be great if you could pay for spotify using your credit.

So overall spotify is best but more expensive. They all have free trials going for new users. Try them all out and see which one suits you best.

I use google music as I can pay with 3 credit. BUT my playlists and listening history don't transfer from my different devices which is way more annoying than it should be.

How do you pay for Google music with your three credit? Have it but I'm paying for it with real money like a pleb.

I do the same, but my playlists do work across devices. Integration with sonos with Google is also better than Spotify for me. That + paying with 3 credit makes it easier for me. Spotify doesn't cast well either even with spoticast. Gf is on Spotify but is now thinking of changing due to above

You need to unsubscribe (unfortunately) and when it lapses, re subscribe with your phone, at that point you'll be given the option to use 3 as a payment option. Has to be done from your phone!

Uninstall, and choose pay with 3?

I use Google play purely because it has the upload option.

Have used Spotify, deezer and tidal. All are great anyway! What an age we live in!

Spotify has a much nicer user interface than Google, but since I got a Nexus Player I've used the Google one a lot more and cancelled Spotify. I think the Google one gives you extra features on YouTube too.

It seriously needs a makeover though.

Youtube music key I think it's called. It's not available here yet, but will be included with your play music subscription. Sounds great, background playback of music videos. Hopefully it won't be too limited, there's loads of rare music on youtube.

I've a sub for Google Music. Had Spotify for the trial and I'm using the free version sometimes on PS4.

Google music definitely caught up a good bit with Spotify in terms of user playlists and curated ones by music journalists etc.

I'd say Spotify is a tiny bit ahead but I got a better price for G Music.

Haven't tried any of the others.

That can be done already on Firetube.

YouTube music key is already available. I couldn't figure out how to enable it as I was subscribed to Google music, in the YouTube app you have to switch from your user name to you Gmail. Then it gives you the music key.

Pretty sure that's how I had to get it anyways.

Not sure if the link works, posting from my phone.
