road bike with mudguards

    buying a road bike soon ~1000-1500

    as this is ireland and I guess ill use it for a bit more than casual spins in the summer what brands/ models can I fit mudguards to ?

    A lot depends on the guards you are looking at, and potentially the size/shape of the frame. Crud Roadracers and SKS Raceblades will mount on most bikes, unless the clearance around the brakes/seat tube are particularly tight, as they fasten their own anchors onto the frame by means of bands and cable ties. If you want to fit mudguards using frame mounts though, your choices are a good deal more limited.

    im not fussy about the type of mudguards, providing I can fit them
