extractor fan in kitchen stopped working

Folks, could you help please as this is wreaking my head !

I have an extractor fan above the cooker. Fairly typical - pull out hood that engages the fan. Common in apartments. The bulb blew the other day so I tried replacing it. Screwed it in but no joy, the light wasn't coming on. It was then that I noticed that the extractor fan wasn't working either. I can only assume that it went when the bulb blew. I've checked the main fuse board but no issues there -no tripped switches.

Can anyone shed any light as to what the problem might be. Is there a fuse somewhere else that might be blown ?

    Thanks

The extractor fan may be plugged into a hidden socket, and might have operated/blown the plug fuse.

Cheers mate. Found the plug above the units and it was the fuse that had blown.
    Thanks again
