To be fair to the OP there weren't any helpful replies.
I doubt there's an easy fix for it and with water damage its hard to say what's wrong. However it is possible that the shop that did the "repair" actually broke the wifi (and know they can't fix it). If anyone can fix it its probably e-tech in dundrum. Good luck.

Probably the least helpful and most patronising post in a while. Did you manage to slap yourself on the back or is that beyond your reach?

I'd point out the irony in your helpful post, but I reckon it would be lost on you. You should probably look up the meaning of big words before you go using them.

OP My phone fell out of my dressing gown pock and fell down the toilet. Luckily it was before i did a piddle :) and I managed to get it out. Thought is was only fit for the bin because it was wet through.
My son got a plastic bag and filled it with rice and dropped the phone in.
I really thought he was making a fool of me
After a few days the phone was perfect.

Dont know what your problem with your phone is op.

You're welcome. Read below why I recommend e-tech, like I said the problem could have been caused by the shop that fixed it (they'll never admit to it) and not many shops can fix it (if it is caused by pry damage):
