Having recently purchased a new laptop I tried to connect my Samsung ML-1660 printer, to no avail. Can I hell locate a driver for Windows 8.1 64 that will pair my devices together

Can anyone point me in a direction that I have so far not found ? Obviously I have tried Samsung websites with no joy.

Did you try the universal samsung driver? Silly question but perhaps you didn't.

I have, when I attempt to print something a small window appears in the bottom right of my screen saying "Sleeping" , maybe it's not a driver issue at all.

A little bit embarrassing but I've resolved it ........ by disabling Internal USB 3.0 Controller in Toshiba System settings :

Maybe of use to someone in the future :D
