Tags for 2016 - BVD Scheme

I need to order a few more tags for the last few calves of this year. I'm wondering if this is the last year of the BVD Scheme, will the tags be different for next year.

The reason I'm asking is I normally order enough for 1 1/2 years, if you know what I mean. No point ordering tags for next year, if the scheme finishes this year.

I really don't think it'll be the last year of it, while idiots continue to hold on to PI calves....

Just started my fourth year of testing and no concessions, hardly surprising.

it wouldnt be so bad if they were testing for other stuff aswell like lepto for example, its great now knowing that all of our calves are free of bvd it be nice to know about lepto and ibr aswell. but all it takes is a neigbhours cow and you might have a breakout

I always squeeze the front of the tagger with the other hand to make sure I get a good sample. It helps hold the ear steady too.

Don't have a clear herd because stock bull is not tested, by their rules.

He was tested as a blood batch before I bought him, before compulsory testing, and if you knew how many phone calls I've had to make to try and have his status registered.....(head, wall, banging)

I know he's BVD free and the restrictions on 'cut price' testing hardly makes it worth testing him with a tissue tag to qualify for a BVD free herd status.
