    Hi All,

I have been considering as a self employer by the local welfare office at the same time i was receiving a signing letter et signed for few years . I did not that a self employer could not sign but he must sign a docket of his weekly income. at the same time they deducted some of my weekly income. I ahve made an appeal and in august last year I agreed to repay de overpayment which was deducted weekly from my social welfare as my business was closed. later i discover the was still deducting twice from my weekly means. I make an appeal and accept their mistakes, beside last year october the have paid me back the underpayment for a period of one months and still working for the remaining one after an appeal was done. Today i receive a letter caonfirming that my means is rounded to 0 euro and that apllies from a certain period(last) so i went to talk with the deciding officer what she told me is she is going to compasate that money to overpayment balance. Now my question si she right to do so because they are already deducting a some of the overpayment weekly . Please if anyone could help me to known if she right or not.
    Thanks in advance

Ok. You were overpaid by SW and were repaying that weekly.
You appealed the amount you were overpaid and you won that appeal.
But even though the amount you were overpaid has now been reduced as a result of the successful Appeal, you still owe them money.
The Dept have deducted the amount they owe you from the amount you owe them so you won't be paying back as much. But your weekly.payment will remain reduced, just for a shorter time.
