    I meant to comment on this image earlier but got interrupted.

    Kept on looking at this image and did not understand it until I saw the title. It was only then that I noticed the surveillance camera on the wall. I think that the problem is that white bag on the ground to the left keeps drawing my eye and is quite dominant in the composition. This keeps the attention away for the items to the right which, I assume, you are contrasting with the pot plants.

    I definitely agree that the camera should have more space to draw your eye and not simply appear at the extreme edge of the frame, almost as an afterthought for the viewer. I think it is for this reason that the bag dominates. Otherwise, I wouldn't have issue with the bag. I like the photo though, it's thought provoking.

    I think the image would stand on it's own even if the camera wasn't there.

    Of course it would.

    The title implies a story that I would look for in a photograph and from that perspective I would have liked a slightly different angle. As the photographer, you have made the choices and I can either like it or not. I like it....

    i like it, i think i would convert it to b+w and crop a bit off the top into a square shape to mirror the pots.
