Google+ photos

I use nearly all Google applications with the exception of my phone which is an iPhone 6+. The reason I chose the iPhone was because I don't like the bloat ware that comes with Android phones and the nexus 6 wasn't available at the time. In summary, my iPhone 16g is out of memory and the 3Gb of photos are all synced to Google+.

If I delete the photos from the iPhone will they stay on Google+, and does anyone recommend the best way of syncing photos on Google+ and Google drive?

When you delete photos off phone it gives you the option to 'delete everywhere'. Otherwise you can always access them online.

Go to Google+ on your computer. On the left there is a drop down menu, select photos. They will always be there if you have it set to backup/sync from phone. Unless you delete them and choose 'delete everywhere'.

Photos is essentially part of Google drive anyway, no need to add them there.

You can download them in bulk by selecting what you want off your computer and it will download them as a single zip file which you can then unzip. When you select what you want there is a drop down menu with the download option in centre top area of screen.

If you really want them in the drive, just download, unzip, then drag and drop onto Google drive. Although I don't see the benefit of this.

If you delete them from the iPhone gallery they will stay in Google+ and fee up space on your iPhone. Make sure you are backing up movies too and delete them if you have any as they take up more room. The other thing to check is are you uploading them at full resolution and do you want to upload at full resolution. If you upload them at a standard size it doesn't eat into your Google Drive storage. If you upload at full resolution it does. Something you may want to check before you go deleting anything.

The 'delete everywhere' function mentioned above by moleyv is only for Android Phones.
