unlocking using ebay

    I've bought loads of phone from the UK and unlocked them to use here,but with the terrible exchange rate at the moment I'm looking to buy the HTC 510 from Vodafone (ireland) but I need to unlock it.

    Do the £2 unlock codes on eBay work for Irish phones... I'm guessing its on the same imei database???

    Anyone used em?

    If they unlock imei for Vodafone Ireland it should work, if they only mention Vodafone it's probably Vodafone UK only, best will be to email each seller and ask.

    As usual check they are good seller, check feedback reviews.
