As an OAP newbie I am just getting to grips with my Laptop. I recently got help with a Toolbar problem which I appreciate. My latest problem is when I want to sign into a site for instance Boards all the sites beginning with B that I looked at recently come up. How can I clear them out and stop them showing again.

I've never used chrome in my life am a Firefox kid but I'd imagine you need to clear your cache and browsing history. This link will walk you through. That's if you want all your history deleted mind I'm not sure you do. On your own head be it.

Can I ask why you want to disable this feature? It can be very handy!

If you browse site that you don't want to show up in your browsing history you can use Incognito mode. Click on the menu button on the right of the Chrome windows, and click open new incognito window.
