Working Two Jobs

Looking for some advice, for the last 2 years I worked in a factory as a seasonal worker in the evenings, and in the off season I work as a farm worker during the Springtime on my brother's farm.

2013 I worked from October til Christmas week in the factory then after this I worked on the farm til end of May 2014 and started back in June in the factory as I'm on a call back list.

The fact it's in the evenings is useful as I can still do a few bits during the day on the farm and then head to the factory in the evening and it's only 4 evenings a week, Monday til Thursday

Last year I was paid cash in hand on the farm and was on the factory's books.

This year now I'm on the farm books and had to hand my P45 in the farm accountant.
If I do get a call back from the factory the first thing they will request is my P45 and without that I will get Emergency Taxed.

Because when the let me go they give my P45 with my last payslip and will be put on a call back list when it gets busy again.
I want to continue that this year so is there a way to do both and not get screwed on tax?
    Thanks.

Get the Company reg number ring the tax office with it when you start and you won't be emergency taxed

Nope you can split your credits between them

I have my credits split between three employers. Just make sure you apply for a P21 balancing statement end of tax year to make sure you paid correct amounts of tax and USC. Have wound up getting a rebate 3 years running while working for multiple employers. Just contact Tax office and split credits accordingly. 50/50 if they both pay the same over the year or more credits to employer who generates most income for you.
