Keyboard on desktop playing up!!

    Hi folks, having issues with my keyboard on desktop. It seems to be connected okay...green light coming on!! but most of the keys are all over the place!! for example, when I type in the letter J....a load of random letters come up :crazy: lmjskemki (random letters!!). I have performed a system restore and no joy......it's Windows XP and quite old...any advice folks??

    Turn it upside down and give it a good shake?

    Check for viruses?

    Try another keyboard. That way you'll know if it's hardware or software.

    did anyone spill liquid on it ?
