It's a good deal I think. It contains 2 handsets and 3 brush heads. Usually each one costs the same price. I bought one myself.
It costs much more on Amazon UK website.

There is a €25 off on top of the price. Enter PHILIPS25 to get the discount. Postage is around €9 euro.

Ultrasonic toothbrushes are supposed to be amazing, 192,000,000 movements per minute. Main issue is durability as all those movements will destroy them in a couple of years.

At the bottom of the page 'Enter Promotion Codes...', i.e next page after selecting delivery address.

I've had one for years. Used twice daily by me and himself, absolutely no problems with it so far. Might be nice to get a new one though at this price!

Thanks op. Ordered one last night. The code seems to give $25 off the price rather than the €25 but still a great price. €110 including shipping.

    Or
    http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/4441744/Trail/searchtext%3ESONICARE.htm

Ordered the brush myself as well, my 7 year old sonicare still going strong, but have to charge it slightly more often so time for a new one (or 2).

Sorry didn't check that, maybe they'll come back? Anyway I often find them on offer in boots. I wouldn't go for the fake/non-philips ones...

Some folks on Amazon reviews recommend generic head replacement for those (Google translate in Chrome):
    http://www.ultraschallzahnbuerste1.de/philips-sonicare-ersatzbuersten%20/

I bought those (to go with the HX6932 toothbrush I just bought based on this thread) after their recommendation (free shipping to Ireland and much cheaper than Philips heads): http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00G2U2Z1O/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1638&creative=19454&creativeASIN=B00G2U2Z1O&linkCode=as2&tag=uszb-21&linkId=NRFJUGDBMASLLWFG

erm very first review from that page...

The very first brush head from the pack ruined my Philips Sonicare. The supplied brush head is so firmly on my toothbrush that with the removal of the brush the holder / pen for the brush head from my Philips Sonicare with torn was and stuck in the brush!
holder / pen could then only be removed with tongs from the brush , The rubber cover for the pin / Holder my toothbrush was doing ruined.
"The Good" has indeed paid me the money for the brush back immediately, but my Philips Sonicare is no longer usable and there was me a damage of 79 €.

dont the see the logic of shelling out for a premium toothbrush and then trying to skimp by buying generic brushheads. Im sure they are fine but so is a cheap electric toothbrush for 20 quid which will save you a fortune!

Yes did not dig deep enough, could have been a bad batch but nonetheless, removed my post to avoid any bad surprise to folks on this board. Trying to cancel my order now as well :P

Yes, your logic is sound, just stupidly thought most of the magic was being done by the base rather than the head but the head is what is in contact with your teeth!
