vw polo timing chain

    Hi guys can anyone tell if the vw polo has a chain or belt in the 2002 and 2003 1.2 and if so what's maintenance milage on them to be changed

    When was the belt changed?

    For €900 you have to be realistic though. You're not really gonna get a perfect car that won't ever give any trouble.

    Depends. If the car wasn't maintained with regular oil changes, it mightn't last 60,000 miles.
    It's all down to how it was maintained. In theory it can last for hundreds of thousands of miles.

    The 00 is a better car IMO.
