OMG it is so difficult to compare phone and broadband packages

So I haven't shopped for phone and broadband in a while but due to a change in living circumstances this has become an issue for me again. I remember when all the different providers used to have their different packages clearly laid out on their website and comparable to the other offerings that they're selling.

Is anyone else completely frustrated by the fact that, these days, it's not possible to get product information quickly and easily anymore from a company website? Every single provider has designed their website UX to stubbornly try and force me into making contact with a sales agent, giving them my details or "checking if my area is covered" ...which is another way to just hand over my contact details so that they can directly sell to me. I get the logic of it, that's not lost on me but, when I land on a website, I will leave it if I can't find what I'm looking for ...and I won't to talk to an agent just yet because I'm not ready. At the end of the day, it's another potential customer lost.

That's awesome, but are these guys a reseller? As in, do they only promote those providers that are willing to pay a commission on their referrals?

Edit: They must be. I don't see Digiweb, Imagine or any of the mobile networks listed there...

They do fixed providers (including magnet), mobile and Wimax are midband not broadband.

Good point, but many of those packages on their website are slower than the advertised speeds of these midband providers. Digiweb Metro for example advertise 30MB/s and 4G networks offer the same.

    Contended at 40:1 or similar.

Try using 4G on a heavily loaded node, just see how you get on. With NGN/NGB DSL, VDSL and modern DOCSIS(anywhere above 30Mb) there isnt any contention(effective, docsis is shared medium).

Peak speeds != day to day speeds.

Ya but surely this rule applies for all providers and not just Digiweb/Imagine etc.
