Opel Meriva Central Locking Problem

    My 2004 Opel Meriva Central Locking is not working on rear doors, only one opens manually, the driver side rear passenger door is firmly locked, wont open from inside or outside. Its NCT test is tomorrow and bound to fail when they try to open and check rear seat belts. There is no resistance on the door handle unlike the one the opens manually, linkage may be gone. The access screw fixing is located below the door inner panel and inaccessible as it sits over the door threshold cill. Any ideas on how to remove panel to get at the inner workings. one of the rear seats would have to be removed to allow access. If I leave it with a garage its big bucks. All advice much appreciated.
