Hello people, I will have my full license next month and would like to get insured as a named driver on my fathers alfa 159 1.9jtd. (He has 7 years NCB). Im 20 and never been insured. Im asking you here because as I said I will only have my full license next month so I dont think we can lie on quotes now saying that I have full license.

Have any of you been in similiar situations and have more info on that than me? Woud it close on a 2000 euro a year?

    Thanks in advance

The only ones who can answer this is your father's insurance company. Insurance is not bought off a fixed price menu, it is dependant on so many factors that are unique to the person being insured so anything suggested here would just be a guess.

One thing is for sure though is that it probably will not be cheap.

Worth trying...the car being an Alfa 159, they are bound to have very little of their "data" on "accidents" about it, if any. When I transferred my own insurance to the 159, the premium actually went down a few euro, even if I was going from a 1.4 to a 1.9 (staying petrol)!

Anyway, lucky fella getting an Italian beauty as your first ride (all double entendres are absolutely intentional!) :D
