Have my 2005 Focus Zetec for years and never any problem. It has 120k km on the clock but over the past couple of weeks the power seems to have gone. What was relatively quick at picking up speed it now takes forever to accelerate. I will have to take it to a garage so heres hoping it doesnt need a new engine or some expensive job. Anyone have similar problems?

It could be a faulty sensor - possibly crankshaft. Not a big repair.

    Could be a spark plug

Very often the coil pack on the focus. Plug a diagnostic macjine into her and get some feedback.
