lost satellite signal on Ariva 120

I recently lost the satellite signal on my Ariva 120. I suspected the wind but checked the dish and all seems ok. Put a sat finder meter between receiver and dish but no power to meter. Checked sat port on Ariva with a multimeter and no voltage output. I am presuming I should measure 13 or 18 volts here? Does this indicate the sat receiver has gone faulty in the Ariva? Has this been known to happen with them?
    Thanks.

Humax is not an equivalent, it has no terrestrial tuner.

I'm not familiar with the Ariva 120 but if it's like other Ariva boxes then go to Menu > System Setup, Scroll to Other and press ok, check that LNB power is set to "on".

Indeed. Did you try my suggestion about reflashing the box ?

From memory the power settings for polarity should be set to auto.

Also make sure you havent changed the LNB type to motorised dish or turned diseqc on.

If after reflashing it still doesnt work. You also need to rule out the LNB isnt fecked.

Thanks all. Had searched boards again yesterday and found a reference to "LNB Power" setting which to my surprise was turned to OFF. Can't figure out how this happened as I was not near the menu and it is well hidden in there. All working ok again now!
